I made a dress form by mummifying myself with packing tape. It is exactly my dimensions which is very unsettling, you’re not really supposed to see your own body in three dimensions. I put it to the test by using it to pattern a skin tight bodice using the least flexible fabric I have. I had to do some crazy sewing machine repairs while working on this, I felt like a car guy. I also hand-crocheted the lace trim which was torture, but I probably will try it again.
